Natural
Rubber
A range of rubbers
which have been dried (cured) naturally and without the use of sulphurs
and drying agents, rendering this a low-toxicity/low-energy material.
Many of the rubbers supplied by this company are manufactured in thin
(3mm) sheets and then layered to form solid forms and details. The
rubber is also tapped using up to date sustainable techniques to ensure
the longevity of both the forestry and the industries that it supports.
Biopol®
A 100% biodegradable loose fill packing
which is made from foamed corn starch, a readily renewable resource.
This material provides a great alternative to polystyrene chips.

Flax
Insulation
A natural
insulation material made from 100% flax fibres. Matted together into
a non-woven matting, which can then be laid down in lofts or inserted
into wall cavities.
Coconut
Matting
Manufactured from recycled coconut fibres from the post industrial
waste stream. This textile currently provides a low impact and affordable
solution to the problems of soil erosion and land sliding on man-made
slopes such as motorway and railway embankments. However, with thought
it may be specified within other design contexts.
Acousticel®
An
acoustic insulation material made from 100% recycled rubber. The rubber
comes from old
car tyres and is broken down into small strips to make this non-woven
sheet material.
Expanded
Silicone Rubber Foam
Durable
self-skinning foam made from aerated silicone.
We have chosen this material for the collection based on its superior
durability to polyurethane foams, and its low toxicity during and
after production. There are many colour option and sheet sizes and
thicknesses vary.
Droptec®
Is a safety flooring material manufactured
from 100% recycled polyurethane foam. The reclaimed foam is minced
up into small chunks and then reconstituted to create large lightweight
mats, which actually have immense shock absorption capabilities.
