Personality or Temperament is to do with personal traits, attitudes and preferences. It is important to consider such things as
  1. How you come across to other people and interact with them
  2. The type of team role you habitually adopt when working in a group
  3. How you approach and deal with tasks and responsibilities
  4. Your style of decision-making

      The career decisions you make will obviously have a fundamental influence on your life, and the business decisions you take on behalf of your company could have a vital effect on their fortunes. You may rely on intuition and impulse (and even be right!) but will almost certainly have to rationally justify and explain why you have reached certain conclusions, based on sound information and realistic principles.

      The process of decision making in the workplace often involves

      information handling
      being analytical and solving problems creatively
      communicating with and involving others where appropriate
      learning from experience
      reviewing and planning ahead
      all of which you are developing in Higher Education (and no less in this CMS unit), but which you must recognise and 'market' to employers.
