While job performance is enabled by skills, it is driven by values, interests and ambitions. Two people with similar capabilities may wish to employ them in quite different jobs because they have different interests and values.
Work values refer to how you feel about the conditions and lifestyle associated with a particular career, such as earning potential, opportunity for social interaction, and the contribution it makes to society. |
