Bear in mind the following sorts of factors:
- When was the material produced and how often is it updated?
- Who produced it, for whom and for what purpose?
- Is it formal and expert, or informal and amateur?
- Does it give only the positive aspects of the job and/or employer, or a balanced picture?
- Was it written for marketing or recruitment purposes - or to inform and guide?
- Is it news, comment, or analysis?
- Does it meet your needs? For example, is it targeted specifically at graduates or for more general consumption?
- Does it have age-related information if you are a mature student, or special sections on disability/equal opportunities?
- What is the scope? Is it local, national or international in coverage?
- Does the information give sufficient detail?
