General Resources

Occupational information is used here to refer to general careers information. That is information which gives an objective overview of the key characteristics of a particular occupation, for the purpose of helping the reader arrive at a careers decision. Thus it is quite different from recruitment information which promotes specific jobs with particular companies. Occupational information will explain what a career usually involves (tasks, responsibilities), the skills and interests needed and the qualifications and entry routes.
