Scenario
You have applied for a position as Graduate Management Trainee within a large organisation which typically recruits around 80 graduates a year. Sarah Hall, their Graduate Recruitment Manager, is interviewing you for the position.

  1. Sarah: Why did you choose Kingston University to study your discipline?
I had wanted to study something different and I didn't get the grades but I thought this subject would be very similar. Both disciplines involve writing essays and I enjoy researching and pulling the information together to help me present my argument effectively.
I found the 'A' level fascinating and I could see how the subject relates to society and the environment as a whole. I compared different university courses and Kingston offered more interesting modules and the opportunity to undertake a live project in my final year that enabled me to put the theory into practice.
This was my best subject at A' level and I didn't want to move away from home so Kingston was the natural choice. The sports facilities are also excellent.
