Intrallam®
A structural timber joist made from 100% recycled softwood. The reclaimed wood is cut down into thin wafers, and then sandwiched back together under high pressure. The result is a robust, easy-to-tool timber which doesn't warp or bend.

Hardboard
This board is made from 100% recycled wood waste and uses no formaldehyde or bleaching agents during manufacture. It is available in a wide range of sheet thicknesses.

Timber
We are aware that timber (proper) is a particularly debatable area when it comes to material specification. However, there are guidelines and recommendations as to how the timber specifier can ensure that the wood they select comes from a sustainably managed forestry unit. If you are considering specifying timber, whether hardwood or softwood, we recommend that you insist upon the Forestry Stewardship Council (F.S.C.) certification. F.S.C. is the first effective international standard to be placed on general forestry practice world-wide.
