Finding your Profile
If you wish to become a solicitor or barrister, further study is a must. In 2002, out of 90 Kingston LLB graduates, 11 undertook training for the Bar and 37 solicitors' training.

If you are taking a qualifying law degree (LLB), you will need to take a Legal Practice Course (LPC) in order to become a solicitor or a Bar Vocational Course (BVC) to become a barrister.

If you are taking a BA Law, you should be prepared to take a conversion course first in order to be accepted onto a BVC or LPC course.
