Welcome to the Kingston University Research Webserver.
This server is provided to provide hosting facilities for Research Units and Groups associated with Kingston University.

Creating Your Account.
To apply for an account on the Research Webserver you should contact the Information Services Helpdesk in the first instance.
Once your account is setup, your website will be accessible at the following URL: http://research.kingston.ac.uk/<sitename>/ where <sitename> is the name provided to you.
To setup your account all you need to do is follow these steps:
- Log in using SSH or FTP with the username and password provided to you when your account was setup.
- Access the Database Management Tool if you wish to setup a MySQL database on your account (This is an optional step).
